Something wrong with Ebony Maw
Hello so I noticed a weird interaction involving the recently buffed Ebony Maw and Doctor Doom. I'm used to fighting Maw with Doom because Doom can easily heavy Maw without ever triggering the falter, so I know this match. And I know I've always Doom cycled Maw. But now I can't.
Basically after I sp3 and go "mm lll mm" (standard doom cycle) I still don't fill a bar of power, so I can't power drain with sp1 and I get hit with an sp3 in the face and die. This has happened to me twice in the same day. First instance was in the incursions. I was in room 7, sector 8. Maw sp3 and I die. I second guess myself and think I must have made a mistake and maybe I missed a light hit in my combo. But then later this same thing happened in 7.2.1. The path where the defender gets an attack increase based on your combo meter. The other nodes say that you get a fury when you intercept and you remove 5 hits from your combo meter everytime you dodge a special attack by activating dexterity. Also all special attacks are unblockable. There is nothing I could find in the nodes or in Maw's abilities that explains why I don't reach sp1 during the doom cycle. It seems like a bugged interaction to me. I clarify that I heavied him into my sp3, which means there's no falter or anything else getting in the way. He was passively stunned and each and every of my hits connected. I was sure this time, so much so that I redid the fight and the issue was still there.
Can anybody try this out and confirm it for me? Because I'm really confused. I'm sure of what I'm saying because it's a match I know.
