Help! Cannot select Defence tactics in AW

Help please. I am the officer in my alliance and I cannot select the Defence tactics for the BG in AW. There is no option when Placement phase is on. People are joining for Defence and cannot find any option for choosing the tactic.
Even if I myself try to join the defence, there's no option for any tactics. Its just a normal screen showing my 5 Defenders. I have not joined the Defence yet!

@Kabam Miike @Kabam Porthos any suggestions what I'm doing wrong. I have still not joined the Defence placement yet. Waiting for your replies or anyone else suggestions too!

You need to select the defense tactics on the war matching screen, each member can't select their own defense tactics. Only attacker tactics is per member.

Your later pic shows you are in TIER-10 (Intermediate level Map) That level has never had Defensive Tactics. (Did you recently drop down to a lesser Alliance, and used to have them where you were before in a higher War Rating alliance ?)

Even at Tier-9 which could put you in HARD level Map, the new Attack Tactics had been delayed there (in case that is what you were thinking of), but that still wouldn’t have Defensive tactics.
