Why

Can someone please explain the rationale behind releasing 6* champs when we can’t max 5* and tier 2 alpha cats are impossible to get?

You've missed the boat mate, this all happened a while back. But we will be able to max 5*s before we can use a 6*

t2 alpha are available.
1 - if you mortgage your house, you can buy them when they have the special offers.
2 - you can save glory. spend 1000 glory/week = 1,800 fragments, therefore you can accumulate 1 every 20 weeks

This is motivated at the top. There are people getting bored and being bored appartly is worse than your frustrations or mine or anyone else lower down the food chain. They dominate the aquisition of supplies in game, they do not bother with arenas much, they can "walk" through most of the content. They dominate in the alliance events. And kabam has kept the rest of us on a string thinking at some point we can at least close the gap...but that ain't happening. They are moving on and further out of reach while we keep playing catch up.

I believe like all decisions this comes down to revenue rather than what’s the best player experience.

Max out ? Lol I can't even duplicate a 5 star ,this game is becoming frustrating and with release of the new 6s our 4s will become useless . Thank you kabam

Well, think about it. With the release of 6 stars that means five stars will become easier to acquire soon.

@DRKK9 let me know when you get enough 6* to push the 4* out of your roster you use. I know it will be a while before I get one. I have 20 5* btw

I don't know about your 4* champs, but my 4* champs are going to be just fine. I use them in arena: 6* champs won't alter that. I use them in quests. 6* champs won't change that by much: I did 5.1 with 4* champs, I did 5.2 with 4* champs, I defeated the Collector with 4* champs. Now that I have my 4/55 Iceman I will be doing 5.3 with him in part, but a lot of my attack team will still be 4* champs because they have to be. I do AQ with 4* champs, I do AW with 4* champs, my AW defense is all 4* champs.

I don't know how you are using yours, but the way I use mine they will still be useful and used after 6* champs are introduced. When you say "useless" to be frank I think you really mean you won't value them as much because you will be envious of players with 6* champs. They will still be useful, you just won't enjoy using them as much. That's entirely on you.

Look we had all that with the release of the fives. Our alliance had very few ranked 4 stars but the promise was made they would be easier to obtain...they kept that promise! However the things to raise them have never become easier to obtain. So now many of us have armies of 4 stars we can't rank. A handful of 5's (many of us probably haven't even tried to rank hoping for at least a handful of 4 stars at max rank). So yeah 5 stars will be easy to get...big deal...I got 42 4s I can't raise and there are 60 5s so not pulling a 6 in the forseable future...but what is the point if you can't raise em? At the top they are so oversupplied they don't even use the stuff while down below players starve.

But here is a little something to consider kabam, maybe they wouldn't be bored if some new alliances could rise up and give them a real run in AW. So don't just throw a bunch of 5 stars at us. Give us more of the stuff we need to raise them to compete as well (and I don't mean sell it to us) fix the cat arenas. Put more t4cc and t4cc shards in the game on quests and events...balance this game player wise not just because of "deminishing returns" from where a ton of us sit we been seeing "deminishing returns" for a long time...like grinding more and more to get less and less.

And let's deal with the painful truth, this game will never be "fair." there will always be someone who finds an exploit or gets away with sharing or bottling even if only for a time. So if he game can never truly be fair...at least it should be fun...for many of us it isn't! But wonder of wonders! We continue to log in and play like we have been subliminally programed like Pavlov 's dogs. Bring back the fun! I haven't really played in a month...I also haven't slammed my phone down in a month!

I have nice collection of r5s , I've done 5.1 and going throu 5.2 , I've done Rol , and doing road to lab at 4.2 , i did the web slinger challenge and do the master casualy .
But i also remember when the 5 stars got in the game how the 3 stars became weak and lost value , all I am saying is we should be able to obtain 5s easier because the game will become harder , what can I do with unduped 5 stars ? I have 10 of them sitting in my collection . And I work hard for each 5* crystal and end up getting some trash unduped champ I'll probably never use , this is why I'm saying it's becoming frustrating to me that I can't have at least one decent 5* in my roster.
