Will July 4th unit deals beat the Grandmaster Gauntlet?

Before the Gauntlet was out, if someone said to me for 15k units (all the deals), you could get 1.5 t5cc selectors, 3 6* and a 6* nexus I'd of snapped their hand off when compared to Black Friday where you got; 2x 6* nexus and 0.5 t5cc in the shape of 5 10% random crystals, a bit of t5b and a 1>2 gem.
Personally, the t6b and t3a that's more than likely going to be the main feature won't interest me too much at the moment as a rank 4 will more than likely be some time away so dropping a huge stack of units on potential rank up mats for later down the line ins't in my immediate horizon as someone who isn't in a prestige race. Remember when t5cc where first brought in with little deals and yes, whales eventually got their first rank 3 champs it wasn't that long before the average joe players had access to content to aquire the same mats too and I'd rather wait for that.

They won't be better than the spring cleaning offers
I don't know if that means anything, but they need to up their game to up their bottom line. A large chunk of their income comes from these deal days, so it really hurts the game when they bomb.
I completed the gauntlet a few days after it started quite comfortably, got 5 r3 champs and a further 3 full t5cc just waiting on t2a - would be happy to see some of them!
Money deals? Probably.
