Value Buffs are just to give them some more damage so they fit in better. Moderate gives them an ability or two and some number increases, overhaul recreates the champion’s abilities.

Sometimes the Value Buffs won’t be as big because they are already a decent champion who just needs a damage increase just like Ronin.

Plus you haven’t complained about the previous value buffs. It wouldn’t make sense just because one buff is smaller to stop doing 3 buffs a month

Value updates are great (but nova needed an actual tune up). Champs that are good utility wise but not a sufficient amount of damage can use these value updates.

If they don’t get them where they want them. They will revisit. Also, you don’t know how much this will improve Ronin. The cadence is perfect. And if you are a Ronin lover now it won’t really affect you too much. Just make him slightly stronger

The funny thing is, the resident Ronin lover actively thinks this makes him worse.

Quit complaining about smaller buffs, not every buff is gonna be a magneto tier buff, ronin was already solid and this gives him a little bump up, is it a huge change? No, but it does make him notably better

The only buff since the change that was genuinely probably not thought out properly (excluding hood) was nova, that one very much seemed like a rushed buff to get up to 3

You need to make a better case than that, and not assume we will understand your assumptions that lead to this vague post. What lack of quality are you complaining about? Why do you think having one fewer buff would change that? Anyway, when they did fewer a month, we still had less-than-exciting buffs sometimes.

All Ronin needed was a little boost to his damage. On paper, reducing the length of his bleeds by half should more than double their potency if you run 5/5 deep wounds like me. The only thing I would have liked is to make his defensive AA reduction a bit more potent but honestly he’s a pretty well rounded champ. He comes off bad when you compare him to the top 1% but so do 99% of champs.

I mean Iceman was lauded as a massive pull years ago but who uses him these days?
