Caiw removing the unstoppable is a nullify effect. Thing is immune to nullify. Thats it.

Can’t get much clearer than immune to nullify...

Maybe OP is asking why this interaction; similar to why Iceman is not immune to Coldsnap.

Thing is immune to nullification. His buffs can't be nullified. And Capiw can only remove the unstoppable buffs via his nullification

I also think maybe he doesn’t understand the difference between active and passive buffs
