6* dupp gives no 6* shards?

I just popped a 6* basic and dupped my Falcon (hooray btw, he will hopefully be my TB r3).

However, all I got was gold and iso. Wasn't I supposed to get 6* shards too? I dunno actually, my 6* roster is small, so dupping a champion is rare for me. I always thought that dupping a 6* gives the 275 shards

P.S. I tried to take a screenshot of the pull but the game crashed when I tried to capture it. Guess I'll search under my bed for my good old tinfoil hat lol. But I positively didn't get the 275 shards, bcs as of now, I have only 221 of them, so no way it was just a visual thing.

Does duping a 5* give 5* shards?

Dupe a 2 star, get 3 star shards.
Dupe a 3 star, get 4 star shards.
Dupe a 4 star, get 5 star shards.
Dupe a 5 star, get 6 star shards.

There's no 7 stars (yet), so no 7 star shards for duping a 6.

Would love to get a dupe on my 6* Falcon. I'd probably still rank 3 godpin over him tho.

No 6* shards I'm afraid so you've just got to hope that they champ you dupe needs the dupe and/or sig levels. In this case it's definitely a good dupe to have, so gratz.

Thanks everyone, I must've gotten under a false impression that the duppes give 6* shards. Guess I should watch less youtube and play more lol.

I am glad I learned something new today thanks to you and I definitely won't be crying about 250 6* shards. With my 25 6*s, these are easily overlooked

Was anyone around when they released 5 or 6 stars? If/when 7 stars come out and new rewards are added for dupes, did you get anything for the dupes already in your roster?

I believe when 6* came out they gave the shards from past 5* dupes if my memory is right. Didn't affect me at the time as I had not even had a 5*. I would imagine the same thing will happen when 7* are introduced. I think it's just a matter of time before 7* comes out but I'm guessing it won't be for a while.

The fact is that it still feels more rewarding to me to dupe 4*s and 5*s vs duping 6*s (especially max sigs)... in 2021.
So yeah. Maybe a few 6* shards would feel better than no shards at all. 🤷

Duping 6*s should reward 550 6* shards for the time being. It also should be rewarding more or better ISO.

Crazy to think that duping a 4* and 6* is the same amount of ISO
