Here's some more data for those interested. I think I got pretty good drops since I got the 10k 6 star shards.

I still haven’t gotten the 10k 6* yet. Interesting that your unit is 40. Mine was 25. That is the worst amount to get from a daily crystal 😂. I did get 4.5k science t5c today.

I remember very well because I opened 5 and got this beauty.

I could open a 5 star and 6 star because of this. 5 star was darkhawk dupe (sig 117->137). Meh but cool because I have him r4 since release.

6 star iron fist tho... dissapointment all around.

T5c is the only drop I haven't gotten I think. Cool man!

i try to hoard these but i've pulled the 10K 6* a few times and the chance at it again just pulls me in lol ... the most i've stashed is 10

Here's my own drop data to date for TB daily crystals:

231 crystals, and 10k 6* shards is still eluding me. I believe that's the only drop I haven't gotten yet.

In terms of the overall haul, this is what I've gotten since the beginning:

Not bad for free crystals. Also, out of the 261 daily crystals I could have opened since TB daily crystals became a thing, I've opened 231 and missed 30. Those misses were all due to crystal drift: I open them later and later and eventually wrap around to the next morning.

At ~150 days of TB and approx. 135 daily crystals, no 6* shards and no T5c shards yet.

here are my results after 90 days, just to add more data for anyone interested. Didn't get any 6* shard or unit, but got four champions ^_^

My average monthly results compiled over ~5 months. That’s what the 4.6 number is at top, adjusted slightly for missed days from travel, rollover of the Daily, etc. I think I had a few days the first week I didn’t record, which gets me to the ~5 month number.

The numbers represent the total amount of each type of cat I’ve gotten on average each month. The 5* number represents 5K shards, not a full 5*.

It’s not bad, overall—kind of like a little layer of icing on top. But I would advise expecting 6* shards (never seen them), T5c (never seen them either) or full T2a/T5b (seen them once in a blue moon) on a regular basis is a recipe for disappointment.

I disagree with this part.

When TB originally came out, I'd agree that that the daily crystals were a big driving factor and really the only main reason to consider being TB. So it was reasonable to be a little more picky with the R3 to become TB.

Nowadays though, with the additional content, and even with the increased rate of T5CC acquisition from other sources, it's definitely less impactful on who to rank up to get to TB compared to back in November.

Fair point. And I kind of agree with you because we may be on opposite sides of the same coin.

To wit: there are more 6* shards and more T5c available than ever before. I say don’t rush because the champ or cat you need may very well only be a couple of weeks away. Your point (as I understand it) is that there’s no need to be picky since the spigot for 6* shards and cats is opening wider every day.

If TB specific content is up and running, then I’d agree with you 100%. Right now, Carina objectives are evergreen, as is most of the other content that I’m thinking of (Gauntlet is the exception, of course, but it’s filed away for now). Sigil rewards are nice, but not really consequential for TB over Cav.

So I’d say I have a soft agree, soft disagree—unless someone ranks mainly for the Dailies.
