The title says it all: are you?
I’m in between—I’ve had some ridiculous statistical luck over the past couple of weeks, but overall results are more mixed.
My story: as June started, I was floored as a basic 6* stopped on Prof X. I’d been chasing him since his release to no avail. One of my favorite all time characters and he went to R2 ASAP.
Then, 6* Elektra dropped out of a basic about two weeks ago, and I confess I found myself disappointed. A smattering of Iron Tomb Cavs and a few Daily Special Cavs buoyed me with 6* champs as I awakened 6* Thor Rags and became the owner of a shiny new 6* Annihilus. Luck good, even if results not so much.
Miracles happened yesterday with the Cav shard calendar: I nearly soiled myself when I pulled a 6* Nexus. Visions of sugar plums and CGRs and Ghosts danced in my head.
The result was a little different than imagined:
I resisted the nostalgia for Peter Quill and chose the newly buffed Masacre. A nexus 6*, after all, was just gravy for the basic 6* I would open today.
Turns out, there’s not enough gravy to make Rhino go down smoothly.
So I’m a few days from July 4, evaluating how much love I feel from the game. Kind of, sort of.
