Just went and checked. It was briefly mentioned in the 2019 notes, but it was not mentioned in the 2020 notes.

Note: for 2019 it was the Stealth Spidey/Mysterio month, for 2020 the Guardian/Sasquatch month.

It could possibly be a situation where they decided to hold off until after the 4th of July deals to possibly get more sales. (They might sell more if they wait to tell everyone that they are getting a free 5* crystal plus half a 6* star.....or whatever the calendar turns out to be..until after the weekend)

It’s also incorrect. The calendar is a 3-month investment that produces excitement and appears generous. It would excite players to invest more in their accounts. Meanwhile, not getting the calendar after two straight years with it? That’d be viewed as a thumb in the eye from summoners who are on the fence about spending, especially if the deals are on par with cyber weekend for certain progression titles.

I never said anything about them not doing the calendar, I only said they might start it after this weekend's deals.

Every year kabam count up how many times people ask for free stuff and if it gets over a certain point then they decide we’ve been naughty and we don’t get the calendar.

If they only make the last 4 weeks tiered, it can work pretty similarly to how the monthly calendar currently does. If you hit a new tier during those last 4 weeks, tough luck. It'd give you 8 weeks to get to whatever highest tier you can.

The calendar isn't promised and the idea that we deserve it is far fetched. Do I think they take it away? Not at all... Do I think we'll see it after the 4th of July weekend? Absolutely... That's good business.

I'd be very surprised if we don't get an summoner appreciation. Do it once and you don't necessarily have to do it again. Do it again the next year at the same time, it becomes an institution.

They did say last year when everyone started crying they hadnt heard anything they're under no obligation, and can stop / start things as they see nessecary. We'll likely see it, but it'll never be announced, CCP are never told about it either. It'd be nice if they did it progression based, but previous years have been amazing, especially if you start a FTP account when it starts off.

They did say that, but they'll still do it.
