The Red Deadpool Dilemma
Okay so before I get into the topic, let me quickly say that I would really appriciate it if you could either read the entire post or the short summary I will provide at the end before judging this post.
Red Deadpool:
Deadpool has in the last couple of years become really famous due to his generally greatly recieved movies. He has also been a fan favourite in MCOC since his dialouge is often considered to be the funniest in the game in a way that people who never read the story, will sometimes make exceptions if it includes Deadpool.
Not in the crystals:
If you are a fan of the character of Deadpool you might be dissapointed to learn that the only way you can get him is from a money offer at the start of your MCOC career, however the star level is too low for you to keep using him once you progress in the game. There are however a couple other Deadpools in the game:
-Venompool (hybrid from Venom and Deadpool, considered very weak in the game)
-Goldpool (needs to be achieved in a special rare crystal, more a throphy champion)
-Platpool (Same case a goldpool, both throphy champions that are not normally achieveable like most champions)
-Deadpool X-force (Same case as Venompool, considered weak, also not the classic red suit :c )
-Gwenpool (generally considered a good champ, but very disjoined from Deadpool as a character)
Money rules:
As many people will point out, the reason the fan favourite OG Deadpool is not available through normal means is money. People will wanna buy him at the start of the game. However this is also where the issue lies with Deadpool in MCOC...
The Issue:
In my opinion, aside from buisness wants and logic, iconic Marvel characters like Iron-man, Spider-man, Thanos & Deadpool should be playable in this game. Fans love these heroes and wanna be able to play with them. Thanos is achieveable every Christmas for the biggest whales in MCOC. While I also very much dislike this, atleast he is available in some way. There are no yearly offers for the OG Deadpool. Meaning that Kabam isn't even making money of the character in anyway.
People that wanna play with their favourite Marvel heroes will be dissapointed that the Red Suit Deadpool is fully made model and abilities wise, but unplayable in 99% of this game and the 1% is only a 3* version you can buy at the start.
The solution:
Make Deadpool available. It is that simple, give us a unit offer, a money offer, make him the reward for a special quest. Kabam can make money, we can have our favourite Merc with a Mouth in the game. Giving us a different version that lacks Deadpool's iconic regen powers or some rare thropy champions doesn't give us what we want. If you think he somehow would be OP because of his healing factor, you can always nerf it. Personally I don't think he is strong at all and thus wouldn't affect the meta of MCOC at all.
