How am I supposed to build up prowess in her mutant phase if she never goes back into diamond form. I took a video but I’m not sure how to add it

It's a power struggle. Make sure she has more power than you and she'll exit Diamond. Whenever she exits, build you power to switch her back to Diamond, rinse and repeat.

She won't switch though unless she has more power than you so fire your special when she has a bar of power to switch her and vice versa for Telepath back into Diamond.
