Mysterio recovery time in Reflect Mode

Is it just me or does this SOP Mysterio has insanly fast recovery time in his reflect mode. (I'm using Diablo btw and have been able to get him upto 40% in my best run)
Instances I have noticed:
- When I throw sp1 while he's in reflect mode, he recovers pretty fast and doesn't even give me enough time to counter many times.
- He throws heavy and then an immediate light attack
Maybe I'm not that used to fighting Mysterio, but it seemed kind of weird how fast he is in reflect mode.
