Buffed Diablo can autofight winter soldier

Pretty crazy. This fight was with a r3 6* with suicides but I tried it when he was r2 and it worked just as well. He is easily the most sustainable champion in the game and in my opinion one of the new top mystics. Probably top 3 for me.

He also easily neutralizes Aarkus in multiple ways for just about every situation:

He can nullify power gain with Null
He can become armor break immune with grain
And if both of the others are somehow inhibited by nodes, you can do the willpower to get Gulk regen on his coldsnap

I actually don't think so. His healing is more rgn dependant. If you have suicides ln with Diablo he heals for 100 the entire fight. He also gets healing after throwing specials and if you need a bigger top-up you can drink from the sp1 and get a bunch of health back. Wolverine might heal more but he has nowhere near the utility or damage even with apocalypse synergy.

To each his own. Diablo is also easier to get as he is in the basic pool. I'd take Diablo any day over Wolverine anyways. He is more of a trophy champ than someone I'd bring into a quest.

Also I was saying he heals more per heal he gets but he still isn't as sustainable because it's rng dependant. I didn't mean he overall heals more than Diablo.

I don't think anyone is arguing wolverine is the better champion. Diablo is quite clearly the better champion however horseman wolverine easily out damages him. I think you greatly underestimate the level of damage horseman wolverine is capable of dishing out. In fact a rank 5 5* wolverine without suicides has just as much damage as a 6* rank 3 diablo with suicides.

You also underestimate wolverine's healing. Yes it's RNG Dependent but so is his damage, that doesn't mean his damage is any less good. His base heal as a 5* rank 5 heals for 2k a bit more than diablo's sp1 heal but procs roughly every seven hits. His sig heal however heals for 8k, that's equivalent to 4 sp1 heals from diablo or a whopping 70 seconds of passive healing.

Diablo is without a doubt a better champion, relevent utility of which wolverine has none while paired with good damage and healing. That doesn't mean wolverine deosn't outshine him in some areas particularly damage and the healing is very equal.

I don't think anyone is arguing wolverine is the better champion. Diablo is quite clearly the better champion however horseman wolverine easily out damages him. I can agree with the damage. But it is dependent on a synergy while Diablo needs none. To get Wolverine to a playable level you need 3 character slots or take the first few fights with apoc just to make Wolverine a horseman. He might outdamage diablo with his bleeds then but Diablo has much easier access to damage. And im still holding on to my belief that Diablo is more sustainable. I just recorded a fight Vs winter soldier where Diablo came out with 94% health after taking 109 hits. Wolverine can't beat that.

Had a fun matchup using Diablo in AQ. Fought HTD with nullification prefight on. After sp1 started draining his furies and gaining power from MD.
