Map 7 - Doom Sp3 results in Dismay

I used Dr. Doom on the Dismay path in Map 7 of AQ and once I threw his sp3, I lost my combo meter and had dismay placed on me. This occurred for both Juggernaut and Superior Iron Man, and it may have happened when I used Moleman's sp3 on Thor (JF) (don't remember).

I don't believe this is supposed to happen.
