Regarding Recent Alliance Quest Tier Issues [UPDATED]

Hello Summoners!
Recently, there was an unforeseen occurrence that caused the latest series of Alliance Quests to place a number of Alliances in the wrong tier. This caused a variety of issues and special circumstances for every different Alliance that was affected.
Rectifying this situation has been a big priority for us, and we apologize for not being able to offer more frequent updates on this issue, but we’ve been very busy trying to find the root cause, and then find a way to rectify the imbalances that it caused. Because this affected different Alliances in different ways, it was not simple to come up with a “one size fits all” solution, but we now have a plan in place that we can share with all of you.
For all intents and purposes, we are considering this most recent series of Alliance Quests (run from Oct 8th - October 13th) null and void for tier movement. All Alliances will be placed back into the tier that they should have been following the series of Alliance Quests that concluded on October 5th. To be clear, this means that we are not using the results of the Alliance Quests that end today to determine placement in the October 16th Alliance Quest. The results of the Sept 30th to Oct 5th Alliance Quest will be used to determine placement in the next Alliance Quest starting October 16th.
To compensate Alliances that were incorrectly placed in a lower Tier in the most recent Alliance Quest, we will be awarding those affected by this issue with the Rank and Milestone Rewards they received in the Sept 30th-Oct 5th Alliance Quest series, in addition to the rewards that were earned for this current series.
We realize that this now also affects Alliances that were placed in the correct tier in this most recent Series of Alliance Quests, because any movement of tiers will be voided. To compensate for the lack of promotion in tiers, the Top 700 Alliances in Advanced will receive 700 Glory, 1 Glory Crystal, and 1 Tier 4 Basic Catalyst in addition to the rewards you have earned for this current series. The top 1700 Alliances in Normal will be awarded 400 Glory, and 2000 Tier 4 Basic Catalyst Fragments in addition to the rewards you have earned for this current series.
Additionally, the next series of Alliance Quests which will be active from October 16th - October 21st will feature no map costs for all Maps, for all Alliances.
We expect to be able to have these rewards to all of you before October 21st. We are currently focusing on making sure that all Alliances are placed in the correct tier at this time.
