I spent a token on an extra set of 4* shards without even realizing i already bought one.

I also did the summoner pass plus.

How effed am i on the rest of the big ticket rewards because of the token spend requirements?

I think you can skip over any of them.

The items are ordered, but if you spend two green tokens on the 4* shards you will still be unlocking the next item in the store, so your "progress" through the store is not impaired. The only thing lost if someone accidentally buys too many of one of the first four items is they must pass up on one of the future items in the store of the same type.

If you are Cavalier or higher, just buy one of each item. You can't really do any better than that.

If you are not Cavalier or higher and some stuff is locked, buy one of each item you can buy. When you can't buy an item because it is locked, buy one of the first four items that uses the same color token. Then keep going.

The event *intends* for players to do that, but the implementation doesn't make it clear.
