My alliance mate, Thiago MTC recorded this beautiful solo where he shows that Cosmic Rider has the utility and the damage needed to solo Mysterio on 6.3.5 without a trouble. The key here is the vigilance buff

Excellent showcase! Honestly that Vigilance is such an underrated part of him. He's my go-to guy for G2099, as opening with Heavy will reset her Digi-Cloak, and triggering Vigilance and Power Gain next will let him attack without a worry.

I agree, everyone is crazy about his damage but the utility is there and this video shows how versatile he can be. 🙌🏻

How does he get the vigilance buff in the first place? Doesn't that boss have tunnel vision or something that makes you unable to land a full 5-hit combo? I vaguely remember trying out CGR, thinking his vigilance would help me, but getting clapped because I began to miss mid-combo.

Although it is after midnight where I'm at and it was a while ago, so maybe I'm mixing things up.

But yeah, cool video. Great showcase. I love CGR. He doesn't really come with any of the utility that I have needed recently so he's sat a bit on the bench, but he's such a great champ when you are able to use him for stuff and he just feels amazing to play.

No, you're right. This boss does have Tunnel Vision on him. What I think is happening is that CGR is parrying him, Medium, Light, miss the next light, stun ends just as he lands the next light, Medium to get the buff.
