How does the Kinetic Shield Node Work on 6.3.6 Cap IW?

I don’t get it whatsoever and I just blocked a hit and died and also I let the shield expire and nothing happened to him

destructive feedback. all the damage u do to the opponent when the shield is active returns back to u whether u block or get hit

Question: If I push Cap IW to an SP2 before he uses his Sp1, Will he ever use his Special Attacks or can I heavy spam him in a corner?

He will refresh cycle and then only use sp3 to reset the node
