If Kabam invited you to have a seat in the creative process of building a new champ...

What would be some ideas you would bring to the table? I'm not talking about suggesting the typical "tune-up/revamp of your favorite character" request or changes in Cav Crystal drop rates. I'm thinking more along the lines of

- What new mechanics do you want to see in the Battlerealm? (Radiation debuffs? Pressurize debuffs for aquatic champs ect

- What specific type of champs do you want to see more of (eg: more Elemental champs? Obscure champs with silly powers? MCU-based champs like Jimmy Woo or Phil Coulson?)

- Do you want to see more champs from a specific organization and a storyline revolving them?

- If Kabam offered the chance to have a say in a Kabam original champ, what would powers would you throw into his/her kit?


For me, I'd like to see the following:

- More Raft/Vault villains with a monthly EQ storyline about them

- More Elemental champs like Sandman, Vapor (Anne Darnell), Zzax, Hydroman, Genesis (wife of Apocalypse)

- More storylines around organizations/regions like A.I.M, S.W.O.R.D., O.N.E, Alpha Flight, Atlanteans, Subterranean (mole man's home), Savage lands, Attlian ect.

- A variety of new debuffs like Pressurized/Drown for Aquatic champs like Namor (potentially future champs like: Attuma, Pearl Pangan, Hydroman, Tigershark, Sharkgirl (mutant)

Suffocation/Air debris for airbenders/elementals that can affect the air

Eg: Sandman, Hazmat ect.

Put a couple of them up. I like to read people's creative ideas because not only are they fun to read but I'm hopeful that Kabam takes inspiration from these types of threads (even if the final product isn't exactly the way we wrote about)

I mean if I wanted to actually help them make money, release more MCU champs. There will always be comic nerds that play the game for Immortal Hulk and Red Goblin, but there will be random people seeing Captain Marvel, wondering if they can play as Goose in a marvel fighting game

Id like them to add T-Ray (Mystic), he was my favorite Deadpool Villain and a lot of people dont know about him unfortunately.

As far as new mechanics, It would be awesome if he had persistant charges to collect souls (Like Morningstar) but after collecting 4 of them he can ressurect a KOd teamate (He is a Necromancer) to 40% health and give them some buffs. Usuable only once per quest if too powerful.

Add new mastery's to the game, it will help alot cause mastery affects all champs but good and bad so adding a fun mastery to the game. Increase summoner level cap along with mastery points so people can try out other things in the game.

I made these designs ages ago in like 1 hour or 2 so yeah they can be pretty unbalanced. My current designs are better imo.

Absorbing man could be really cool. They could give him his own magneto like effect for metal champs. Morg the executioner would be nice, and Knull aswell. As for effects, something that gets rid of glancing and bypasses 35% armor. I’d call it ‘Overwhelmed’ or something like that.

There’s room on the bottom-right for another button, maybe a combo interrupt button that you can earn through a combo count of your own.

I’d want to make all trophy champs worth having in the first time place.

I’d want a movie version of Thanos to fit in with his Black Order. And a worthy version of Thor.

Oh and there are some champs that could in theory refuse to give you an opening before they reach SP3…I’d change that, as it’s such BS. Maybe blockable SP3’s like Injustice. But don’t copy anything else from Injustice lol.

I'd rather send in my newer designs. Looking back on my old designs, I'd probably change them up if I cared enough cause most of them are either broken OP, have no cohesive playstyle or yeah.

I'm working on two right now. One is a Tech Power Controller with some hints of Science. The other is a Cosmic which I can best describe as a lethargic King Groot but with far more firepower. They're both F4-based, take a guess at who they are.

I hope we start getting champs from the Savage lands and Atlantis. Hell, even an underwater map would be awesome!

As for the AQ, I agree with whoever suggested that we should have Hydra Soldiers/ A.I.M. soldiers. I would LOVE a full Hazmat suit A.I.M. soldier as a playable champ in MCOC (it would definitely spice things up in the AQ)


*There's endless possibilities with an A.I.M. foot-soldier champ since you could give them awesome tech/powers without having to be bound by the comic book source material (you could just chalk it up to "mad science"*
