Have i been sleeping on this guy?

I have used him plenty but only for his prefights, now that i have my first rank 3 to be professor x, i wanna look deeper into this dude and see if he's worth to be my second ever mutant rank 5 and an everyday use champ.
What do you guys think about him?

I like him. When I awaken him, I'll probably take him to r3. At least given my current roster.

At his base, he has a similar Magnetized mechanic to Red Mags. Both place a 70% ability accuracy reduction on #metal opponents, but Wags doesn't reduce regen rate. Instead, opponents gain less power from their strikes and suffer increased debuff duration.

I really wish he had Red Magneto's ignore class disadvantage mechanic but he doesn't, unfortunately.

He gains persistent charges as he fights, which he can use both to fuel his guidance boost and to fuel himself in fights. The more charges he has when fighting an opponent, the more likely he is to gain prowess from his basic hits. He can gain 3 long-duration prowess from heavy attacks and then an additional 7 short duration prowess from landing basic attacks (and being hit).

Depending on how many prowess he has when launching a special attack, those attack gains various bonuses. Increased ability accuracy, increased damage and duration, and grants the opponent 80% less power.

If the opponent is #metal, he places a degeneration debuff on them instead of a bleed.

His SP3 isn't nearly as powerful as Red Magneto's but it does give you a 40-second cruelty buff that pauses all of your prowess while it's active. If you max out your prowess before firing it, you can ensure that all of your subsequent special attacks are fired at their max potential for 40 seconds.

In addition to this, he has a lot of useful synergies. He can make Cable 60% resistant to poison, make Apocalypse's Horsemen hit harder with their special attacks, make Guardian generate force fields quicker, and just improves #hero and #metal champs in general by providing additional attack and ability accuracy.

I like him. While Red Magneto is absolutely broken amazing vs #metal champs, Wags is not a bad champ by any means and passively benefits a huge part of your roster. It's also worth noting that your champions don't have to be both #heroes and #metal, they can be either or and still benefit. Doom and Claire Voyant can both use Guidance Boost, for example, despite neither belonging to both categories.
