How to play Morningstar effectively?

I pulled Morningstar from the 5* Shards I got from Celebration Arena, and because I had a couple of Mystic AGs rotting away over the last few months I spent 1 on her. I'm trying to find the best way to use her (preferred playstyles, rotations, tips/tricks with her, matchups to use her in, where her utility shines, etc.)

If she proves to be someone I'd use then I'll be taking her to R4, else I'll have to go with Hood for R4 instead.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do one sp3 every fight until you get to 5 souls
Then just play normally and spam sp1's for damage.
Or sp2's if opponent has a lot of buffs.

basically this except you can use heavy to get a PG buff so that you can get to your sp3 faster.
And once you're done with the sp3, you need to hit into your opponents enough while ensuring that you don't get hi in order to get the soul (which is pretty easy).

I was doing 98 war fights in a season with her when he was still in diapers! 😂

at 5 souls, she has decent energy resistance, a decent heal chance per hit, unstoppable on sp1, high block proficiency. At 5 souls she is very solid. One of the main issues i run into is building her up to that state. Duped, she starts at one soul, with guilly synergy she starts fight 1 with 2 souls. She is solid, but becomes very sustainable at 5 souls. The downside is you have to plan her rampup. I personally do not use her anywhere else other than incursions.

Bruh. What doesnt she counter. Best mystic in the game. Got room for guilly and Morningstar2099 then even better. I prefer her with suicides
Like what, exactly? I'm not trying to sound rude, but you're hyping her like it's the Second Coming whilst being very vague about what she can do.
I said what i said. Ive used her for just about everything. For me she is the first coming. Her power gain and ability to spam insane s1s makes her great for a lot of stuff people wouldnt think about. Electros. Mephistos. Theres very little i cant use her for and it would mainly be stuff like diss track and buffed up( which to be fair she can do with synergies)

What Synergies would you recommend with her? As far as I'm aware there's a Guilly 2099 Synergy that essentially doubles her Crit Rate or something like that, is there anyone else you use her with?

guilly synergy to build her up faster. Angela/magik has a nifty synergy that keeps her buffs up longer. . She doesnt really need anything else.

g99 synergy is nice too.
