How to make a relevant title on your discussion (a walkthrough)

The number of posts that I have seen recently with titles of (actual examples here): "Compensation", "Holy *expletive*", "It's monday", or things of that nature is getting to be a little more than I can handle without addressing it in some format. Titles are a way for people in the General Discussion (or other subgroups) to get a small preview of what your post is about. That is the only relevant piece of information they get before deciding to hop into a thread, and often, the post title is either irrelevant, misleading, or just has no point/impact. If you have a question, why not write the basic version of the question in the title? If you're discussing a particular champion or their interactions, simply write "iHulk heavy attack is OP" or something. If you're making literally the 1,000,000th post on how you can't wait for compensation to be released, titling it "Compensation" could get some people's hopes up, or infer that you actually have something to say about compensation, instead of just repeating what a million people before you have said.
If you're worried that providing an informative title will throw people off, or not lure them in to view your post, maybe that is a sign that your post might not be worth their time. Let them be the judge of that, and help make forums more effective and fun places to be.
In case anyone just was unaware of how to make a relevant title, here is an example.
Step One:
Click "New Discussion" .

Step Two:
Select the box that says "Discussion Title" with your cursor.

Step Three:
Type in a discussion title.
If you find yourself only writing 1-3 words, take a step back and see if they form a coherent, informative thought.
If you find yourself adding in more exclamation points than letters, maybe you could tone it down a little and fully express your enthusiasm inside the post.
If you find yourself writing four whole sentences for the title, pull a U-turn. You've gone too far and might want to dial it back.
If your post is longer than your title, think: "was this really necessary?"
If your title only addresses a very small portion of your intended topic, maybe there is something more you can add while also being concise?

I would like to add that I have no hard feelings towards people who post like this, and I probably have added my fair share of them. This is partly a humorous post, and partly just hoping that some people never thought about how they make titles and that this might help them out in the future. Cheers

What are you on about?!
1) visual appeal - using major letters propperly, numbers etc.
2) evoking interest in reader
3) being accurate representation of the thread's topic
4) length - not too long, but not soo short. 3-4 med sized words is ideal usually
