Silver Surfer taking incinerate damage

I took my 6* awaked SS to the SpiderMan side quest (Tweeny level) against Human Torch bc he “takes -100% incinerate damage” but he did take incinerate damage. There were no other debuffs on him. It was incinerate damage.

He only reduces potency by 100%. Human Torch incinerates can go beyond that, and so surfer will take damage

yes what willow said, he only has -100% resistance on incinerate debuffs specifically, so passives as well (mephisto) will still deal damage.

Also potency nodes / abilities of course can get around that -100% resistance. Each smoulder on Human Torch increases his incinerate damage by 12% which continues to stack.
