Is 6* Diablo worth r2 unawakened?

The title says it all. I just opened the 6j yesterday and don't have him at lower levels. I tried a search but didn't really see the question addressed anywhere. He's new to me and I know he's supposed to be a beast now. I just want to know how reliant he is on that sig ability, or if he's good to rank as is.

    Ye definitely i took mine undupped to r3 and man..he killed almost whole variant 6...aw korg 23 mixmaster on 25 hits he is wrecking everything also in act 7...just few heavy 2x sp1 then sp3 and game over.... ye dupp would help with more healing but still..its amazing champ just do it

    If you run suicides, yes, and especially if you run suicides and MD.

    It's basically just him and Claire if you want a suicide-friendly mystic that actually nullifies. His sig just gives him extra damage and tankiness, which he already has plenty of.

    No suicides? I can't say. I run suicides and MD already so he was a godsend for the Clairless me. Very quick r3, even unduped.

    I forgot to include that info.....I've never run suicides, and I currently run 3 points in MD. I'm cav and have completed 6.2 and am going to start 6.3 soon. I want to become TB in the near future.

    I've watched a few videos and he's a beast! But he was awakened in all of them. I still think I'll rank him and give him a go.

    Good question. I've never run suicides, but don't they bleed and poison at the same time? Seems like they'd both be taking bleed damage, but Diablo would take less if awakened, correct? Or am I just completely wrong??

    With Clair u start with bleed imunne then 5 hit ended with light and u poison imunme so u have no debuffs on you ..on diablo you will have permanently poison on you but take no damage so u will just heal whole fight for around 100 use sp to take 2 buffs u will heal around 400 when u dont paused sp1 u will get another heal so u can heal for like 500 its crazy

    Yes. Took Mine to R3 unduped and love him. Caveat-i would not R3 if I didn't run suicides'. Suicides give him constant regen and a massive attack boast. With no suicides I would say roster dependent on if I rank 2 him or not. I still would but I have around 50 R2 or higher 6*'s and without suicides he wouldn't be near the top of my list. With suicides he would. long answer short: with suicides-yes, 100% without-maybe-not a bad choice but depends on other options

    Don't make me choose! tempted to say diablo cause i am having so much fun with him and I got lucky and got claire shortly after release. But my gut says that might be recency bias and claire's utility probably makes her a bit better.
