Gwenmaster restarting phases after defeating her

Hey everyone,

Was doing my first run against gwenmaster and finally got to the final phase and beat it...only to have her suddenly go back to the emma phase again (the one I had the most trouble with of course)

has this happened to anyone else....it is sort of frustrating having thrown in resources to beat it to have to rebeat phases I finished? am I missing something?
