It's a nice thought, but unrealistic. It's really not as simple as that.
they physically cant go to the old engine.... this wasn't their fault upgrading to a different engine, it was the engine they were using that upgraded...
Kabam if new game engine is crashed put it onto new server and bring mcoc back to old server.. This lag in everyday gameplay is horrendous.

Hehe I got more BRAIN I guess.. lol
they physically cant go to the old engine.... this wasn't their fault upgrading to a different engine, it was the engine they were using that upgraded... Unreal engine which they got updated to ? No, not the Unreal engine. The game is built on the Unity Engine. https://unity.com/Unity made an update to their engine which caused MCOC to go out of whack for some. They can't go back. It's very rare for any piece of software to get rolled back.

So why has kabam not shared this with the community(obviously directed at kabam at not you)? they claim they want more transparency yet I believe most people thought the whole game including the engine was programmed in house

That's not a very cost effective way of doing it. There are proven engines out there and saves them the trouble of trying to create their own.

Not Everyone who plays games understands the development of making the game. They just play it. You assume to much. lol.

I would say this is not common knowledge. also not something kabam has made clear to the community

You're not a tech type of guy so I don't expect you to understand. There's the link to the unity engine site. Explains what they do and everything.
