Root Mechanic. Will we see it again? Would you like a root version of permanent content?
I believe the first dev diaries touted the Root Mechanic as a future feature of the game. To my knowledge we’ve only seen it once in a side quest event maybe a year ago.
We’re lacking on a bit of new content. I don’t know how difficult it would be to take an existing quest say Act 4, 5, 7 (hate act 6 please avoid anything act 6 related) and do a copy and paste of these acts, but with the root mechanic added. Was just wondering what people’s thoughts would be, is it something you’d think you’d enjoy. Maybe it’s not the whole the quest, they do as Root but specific lanes within an existing quest.
What lanes from existing content would be fun with Root added. What lanes would absolutely suck.
