Karnak and class rank up gems?

Is it even possible to use a skill class rank up gem on karnak?

And if so... why?

He is considered a skill based champion.
But yet takes two both skill and cosmic catalysts to rank.

The guy hits like a baby slapping a peice of spaghetti at the family dog.

Dont understand why kabam would make a "meh" champion cost so much to rank...

Why do people see it that way. It’s actually easier to rank him up tbh using 2 different class catalysts but the same amount of catalysts as every other champion.

I see your point of the split catalysts but the whole cost still just feels silly.
