So if I leave my ally that I am in will I not get apology rewards for the whole AQ tier mess?

    I suspect the rewards rollout will be account specific, for those who materially participated in aq during the specified time. So, if you didn't participate, you're not getting the rewards anyway, so in either instance you can leave.
