It's too early to tell. Kitty against true focus could end up being like Ronan against buff heavy opponents, or Angela against Icarus, cheese in some scenarios but not overpowered. You're seeing a champion in their absolute prime situation.

This. Everyone is focusing on how she works against true focus. She's the anti true focus champ. Ideal working conditions. Of course she works well against that node.

I have her. I use her on normal nodes and she's not nearly as op. She's still good but there are many more champs I'd use before her.

Besides, cowardice is a simple node that can be added at anytime. People are once again overreacting.

Nerf Ghost's damage, True Focus removed = Kitty Pryde nerf (No sp3 spams)...
I mean the mainstream video's poster did say that KP needs True Focus for this to work.

Against true focus, yes
In normal matchups, not so much.

But that's intended. Kabams forcing a meta shift and went about doing with true focus. Quake/ghost get severely limited and kitty essentially walks over every fight it's present on.

For as long as true focus gets spammed expect kitty cheese vids that are essentially sp3 spam.

I have kitty and i can say against true focus yess she is great but in normal matchups she is awesome but not like broken champ... perfectly balanced

She does deserve a nerf hammer. Trying to counter her, kabam is going to destroy other mutant champions/prowess champions.
Elsa MrN Tigra ProfX and other evaders are already collateral damage to the ghost-quake problem, how many more champs will be added to the pile?

I think people are looking at this the wrong way. I think Kitty Pryde’s interaction with True Focus is actually a good sign, it means that Kabam can’t just rely on True Focus as their catch-all node now for Ghost and Quake. By adding a champ who cheeses that specific node the way Ghost and Quake can cheese the rest of the game means they have to be creative.

This won’t be immediate, but I imagine that True Focus won’t be sticking around on AW Boss Island once Kitty becomes more widely available. There will need to be a new interaction there, otherwise Kabam will just be trading one cheese option for another and they know that.

We can only see what has already been released, we don’t know the details of what is coming down the pipe. Miike has previously confirmed that although we have seen a lot of True Focus recently, we should not be expecting it as the norm going forward. I think they’ve got plans in the works.

Out of all that voted yes , how many of you guys have her as a 5 or 6 star just curious. It’s easy to say oh nerf this or that champ when you Havnt invested time or money on that certain champ

She completely defeats the purpose of spamming TF due to Ghost and Quake ^{(with innocents hit in the crossfire)} so yeah, she's a problem if the TF meta continues.

She wouldn't be if they just targeted Quake and Ghost specifically as they should have in the first place.

Every time we get a new champ that a few cannot beat, someone cries that the champion should be nerfed. Learn how to beat the new champions. None of them are impossible to beat. Once you learn how to use your champions every champion will be easier to beat. That is the challenge of the game

If True Focus wasn’t present on the entirety of S3 in AW I’d say no, but as I dare say it’s going to be present, at least in higher tiers then yes. It defeats the point in actually having true focus if you then release a champion that turns it into a farce.

This isn’t about her as a defender but the fact she can cheese true focus.

I’m just hoping that because kabam added kitty pride they’ll maybe hold off from putting true focus everywhere because that’d make her crazy overpowered.
