7.1.1 muscle ward & Tigra not working

I’m not sure what the interaction is exactly but tigra is not gaining unstoppable when I knock the opponent down with heavies, I thought she would be good for this path since her aggressive play style would prohibit the defender from gaining unstoppable from the fight or flight node with her neutralize, any explanation would be helpful

I remember my frustration after I ranked her up for that node... Only for her neutralize to rupture my expectations🙂

The buff from the node is tied to the opponent's ability accuracy. The interaction is the same for nodes like heal or hide and icarus.

Clearly, since I quoted the her exact kit, -100% is not the same as guaranteed like Claire voyant’s sp2 debuff, but I don’t think you understand the node of muscle ward, tigra is supposed to gain an unstoppable buff when she knocks the opponent down, it’s not the other way around. I understand the heal or hide being removed from red mags fighting metal champs and falcons lock on, but tigra is buff AAR, not just AAR in general.

I get that but Tigra is strictly buff AAR, it shouldn’t stop the node entirely like red mags against metals or falcons lock on

That makes more sense thanks. Still think it shouldn’t be that way but I guess that’s the way it is sometimes. I have a good amount of good mystic champs and have noticed that tigra’s neutralize is just a bit of a worse stagger since it doesn’t apply to mystic dispersion and doesn’t guarantee no buffs, but to play devil’s advocate it’s still nice against nodes like mystic ward

neutralize is unique and has it's place. especially against nodes like mystic waard and stagger, nullify immune

Mephisto works through AAR; and similarly fails to gain buffs when the opponent is on Muscle Ward, Icarus and Rising Sun.

It's a price they pay for being atypical Mystics, and working through AAR instead of actually Nullifying anything.
