Spending units for Future Shock quest because of parry/evade bug!

Seriously, this is beyond annoying!
Only a week left to complete the X-Men quest and I have to spend units en masse just because blocks are not working half the time!
And KABAM of course still only gives out compensation for alliance missions! This simply isn't right and KABAM nows that! THEY make a lot of extra money because of this bug THEY caused!
