Diablo sp3 not dealing damage in cav eq

So you can see on the paused screenshot that I’m in the middle of throwing my sp3 with Groot at 67% health. Then in the 2nd screenshot, Groot still has 67% health and the attack did zero damage. The poisons still applied, and they ticked as hard as they should, but the sp3 itself did not. This was on the power snack path of the cav eq with Proxima Midnight as the final boss. I had the same thing happen against Starlord on the fight just before Groot, but did not get screenshots.
