Why the GameCenter prompt now every time starting MCOC ?

On iPad, and I’ve never done anything with GameCenter, don’t use it, never logged into GameCenter, never had to do anything special when running MCOC app (I use a Kabam ID for game, it just normally starts up right into my existing Kabam ID linked game account, never had this prompt in the past before today).

Isn’t a new version of game yet (that is next week), and haven’t updated to iOS 15 yet.

So what gives ?? (anyone else seeing this the past day now ?)

I had that before. Decided to just log in since I didn’t minded as long I remember my kabam ID and it stopped to pop up.

Edit: well at first I didn’t minded as I continue pressing X/Decline, but overtime it was persistent and decided to just log in and it stopped to pop up.

Does it maybe have to do with whether you are logged into your Apple account (say from within the iOS App Store profile) ?
I might have logged out from there the previous day (not sure why that would even matter though)

After the popup happened again today, I exited game, went to App Store and logged in to my Apple acct, went back to Home Screen and restarted game and popup did NOT appear this time.

(Don’t know why being logged into App Store would have anything to do with Game Center, which I even have TURNED OFF in iOS settings, and have NEVER had Game Center turned on)

I don’t really know. I guess might be some security thing from Apple to ensure it is you that is using the same APPLE ID, but then I don’t know. At least it stopped to pop up for you so that’s a good thing.
