Did something change in the forum rules? Serious question, no offence to Kabam..

I placed bookmarks in a few threads about the Guillotine ‘buff’, the state of the game, bugs and issues etc. Because I wanted to follow these discussions.

All very respectful and decent posts. Even most reactions were completely normal.

However, a lot of them have been deleted and I read / hear from others that their threads also gotten deleted.

Including two of myself, asked in a direct message for clarification as I really don’t understand why. No answer yet, that’s why I ask it here. It’s a forum where we can ask questions and state our opinions. (If this is done in a normal manner without insulting someone it should be fine, but yet many posts are deleted).

Did something change in the rules? If so, happy to hear about it.

They delete posts which aren't relevant to the game.. but it's kinda harsh to delete the posts regarding Analyzer.

But posts about champions in the game, bugs and gameplay issues are relevant I think.. haha. I mean that’s literally the game itself

There has always been a fair bit of censorship on these forums. The issue is that it’s inconsistent; there’s a plethora of threads criticising Kabam for XYZ that stay live and are active but equally there’s a huge amount that never see the light of day and there’s rarely a reason for it given.

Haha @Mauled yeah, true. I have seen some very poor ones.. sad to see that they are staying while the ones with constructive feedback are being deleted

Another thought: Anyone around at the beginning will recall that Ad0ra did a ton of give and take on the old forums. She took some abuse but she also gave it back. I remember entire threads where she was commenting with members over the course of several hours. It felt like there were more mods available and active.

That may be harder today. The game is more complex and there are likely more jobs and more things asked of people like Miike than there were of Ad0ra. It could be that it is more difficult to wade in and converse with the forums community given all the additional game and job demands. It doesn’t mean that one person was better than another.

@DrZola you could be right.. probably not easy to control a forum. Just looks weird to delete all the posts where people give ‘negative’ feedback.

I am confident Kabam is aware of the feedback.

There hasn't been any significant changes to our Forum rules over the past number of years. All discussions still need to be on-topic, constructive and engaging.

Some discussions are automatically filtered by our systems for review. If we feel any of those discussions violate our Forum rules in any way, we won't approve them. In such instances, we can use our own discretion to either warn the OP with or without infraction points or not warn/issue points at all.

Other discussions are flagged for review by members of our community. If we feel those discussions are not in keeping with our Forum rules, again we may opt to remove them.

It's our responsibility to try and keep the various sections of the Forums organized. If multiple discussions about the same topic are created, we often decide to merge those threads together to prevent clutter.
