I thought he kept some of his combo if he died on his first fight?

    If im not wrong he keeps them only if you die from block hits

    If he's awakened he'll keep a portion of it. Best way to do this is build the combo to a certain number and quit the fight if you can't solo it.

    He has to die with Combo Shield in order to save it

    Did this and was back at 0. That’s why I asked the question here 😂.

    I did keep some combo from just getting killed. First time was for sure a blocked hit death and saved some combo. And I’m pretty positive that I got killed with regular non blocked hits and still saved some combo.
