Summoned Symbiote’s prefight “Leech” bugged?

I saved up 5 persistent charges to activate Leech but it didn’t show up on pre-fight selections.
My Symbiote is R3.
I maxed out the first three Evolutions hoping Leech would show but it didn’t. And I cleared second path with some persistent charges left over.

This is happening to me right now. Summoned symbiote is rank 4/5 but I only have the base 3 prefight abilities.

I figured it out. Each Knull you defeat unlocks the next pre fight ability.

Correction: ranking up your symbiote

You can have a rank 5 Summoned Symbiote and not be able to get the last two or three pre fights if you didn’t defeat at least two Knulls.
I used my R5 SS to defeat the 4th Knull before the third and couldn’t activate his final par fight ability. Went back to fight the third Knull and was able to activate the last pre fight.
