Favourite Champion?

I know the question is asked a lot, but post your reasons why, I'm interested in trying new champions that other people enjoy, not just focusing on the best of the best all the time!

I'll always have a soft spot for him.

Mainly 2 reasons I've taken him up,
#1, Because of nostalgia of the old days of the contest.
#2, because he's a solid, stable and reliable lane clearer. You would have to screw up bad to die with how potent his Regen (HeAlTh StEaL) is.
#3, Because I can.

I tend to end up favouring champions that I like from the movies, shows and comics, even if ranking them up isn't a great decision and I partly regret it afterwards. Call it a small part in a series of bad life decisions

DDHK is great in many ways; he has a play style which needs to be learnt but can be rewarding. He's fun to play but the Regen Rate reduction that was put on his kit is probably one of the buff decisions I dislike the most. Don't bother ranking him up if you plan on running Suicides most of the time. Great Miss counter though.

Spider-Man 2099 is a recent one. In mystic matchups and power gain situations he's great and the animations are among the best that have been done in the game. But the SP3 is pretty much junk - Slow on the SP3 is just wrong and the Stun actually works against the rest of the kit. He really benefits from the dupe. I wish there was a proper 2099 synergy with Punisher 2099 and Guillotine 2099 though.

Finally, Spider-Man (Stark Enhanced). Left him until last because he's great and one of my best rank up decisions. The 4* got me Uncollected, and although not optimal the 5* put some effort into my completion of 6.1. Yes, he didn't have any immunities to speak of but apart from that he's fast, hits hard, evades don't get in the way too much and the heavy is really useful.

Carnage because his animations are amazing. His sp1 is one of my favourites. I took him to r5 simply for his animations

Venom bc he's one of my favourite marvel characters. He's just big and scary and fun to use

OG Cap bc again a favourite character but also he was my first 4* and he got me through so much of the early content.

Also Diablo bc I can relate to his drinking (I'm not an alcoholic I'm just Scottish)
Iron Fist bc idk maybe if I love him he'll stay out of my 6* crystals.

She can technically die from specials, it's just gonna take a INCREDIBLY long time.

Currently, it's Tigra. Super fun to play, beyond insane damage, crazy utility in neutralize which works on Mystic ward nodes and even champs immune to nullify and stagger and stuff and amazing animations.

Warlock is a very close second just because you can do almost any fight without using parry. Deep dex and light intercept is so easy and fun with him and he's already got a butt ton of utility to along with his great damage.

Ihulk and punisher 2099. P2099 is amazing in cav eq if you run his capiw synergy. He immediately heal blocks and gets crazy damage

Hercules is mine at the moment. I was lucky enough to pull him from the featured and have him at rank 3. The damage is insane and he’s super smooth to play.

He’s also shined a light on how much fun classic black panther is to play. I’m also considering taking him to rank 3

Punisher 2099 and Tigra. P99 is my go-to champ unless a node prevents him from being useful, while Tigra is my favorite specialist champ.

P99 is just so incredibly useful at denying power, it's ridiculous. Pair him with Beardo and a lot of fights are over before they even start.

Tigra is...well...Tigra. Tricky to play but can cheese so much content that most other champions struggle with. I'm currently trying to learn to play her vs. Storm Pyramid X since I absolutely hate Storm Pyramid X and Tigra can just avoid her specials completely. I haven't really gotten there yet but I'm inching closer toward some sort of mastery.

When you do learn her, she is incredibly rewarding. I had a quick and clean fight against the SQ Venompool and it felt amazing.
