Spider-man 2099 true effects issues

This is what happened in today's war: spiderman 2099 lose his 75% true strike damage reduction ability.
Is it a secret nerf or something? I spent a lot to grind him from arena.

Can't upload video here, only the screenshots. The damage showcase means his ability didn't work on AW boss. His true effect resistance worked well before, almost 5-6 mojo and doom boss fights in war. If kabma nerfed it, please announce and refund me all the resources i spent in arena!!!!

Even the poison seems to be dealing actual dmage

I'm not certain, but maybe Mojo actually has True Focus instead of True Strike

though I'm not sure if this changes anything

Last 5 fights with mojo boss was all good, kabam changed it recently.

It’s likely not a nerf, much more likely it’s a bug for some reason.

Seems to be working fine for me. Easy to test, just practice against Corvus

I'm not saying something didn't happen in that fight but it doesn't seem anything was changed on S99

No, that's true strike, true focus would have three parts of a circle that doesn't fight squished together, that's just an eye

I wonder if it’s a bug in war then, I saw another vid against a doom boss so it’s not limited to just Mojo. I wonder if there’s a combination of the nodes there, or maybe defence tactics (even if they don’t apply to the boss), or if it’s just by dint of being in AW

No idea. Like I said earlier, I'm not saying something isn't going on, just that in a vacuum where just dealing with TS or TD, S99 seems to be working correctly

I also don't run assassin or pacify so there wouldn't be any AAR involved if that's potentially an issue though I'm not sure it should be to begin with.

No worries, wasn’t implying you said everything was fine. It’s good to see it’s working in some places. Makes it more likely to be a bug than a “fix”

The only thing that wouldn't have been checked in what I did is if there was some change to how the resistance treated self inflicted damage like suicides/recoil. I don't use them really so they weren't active

I don’t know of any masteries that could cause that? Short of Pacify/Assassin but those aren’t gonna be applied to you in the screenshot scenario. Was there some defense tactic possibly? Do you have a screenshot of that?

AW Mojo boss. Wasn’t taking reduced damage from suicides, attacks, or recoil. Compare pics from mine and mikes.

Believe this interaction is only occurring in war, possibly a bug or possibly a mastery thing.

There is another thread somewhere here about the bug

yup, we are screwed in war too. Tested in quest, this ability is totally shut down on all true strike nodes.

Hey there, we've let the team know and they are working on getting this sorted out so that his damage resistance will activate correctly. We are hoping to get this implemented soon and will update as soon as this is resolved.
