Just tell me why i had to use another revive in last phase when i did well to sp3 first..and then he still able to survive...40 units rip 😅

Lol discovered this last night when I was using Warlock to clear. Felt so confident as the sp3 animation started only to find out he survived with 1,700 health.

I actually found out using spidey 2099, but it turned out I managed to get another sp3 off because of the wither and exhaustion. I’m uploading the solo now actually!

That’s dope, always a fan of seeing practical utility usage. I pulled spidey 2099 recently, been considering taking him up. Any playstyle advice?

Saved fury for this exact phase.
Fury reached sp3 before hitting the real nf phase and kang survived with 1800 health.
Here's a revive wasted to sp3 him again.
Rip 20% revive which was a revive less takedown until he survived.

He’s pretty simple to play, but a ton of fun. Long fights, go Sp3, Sp1 with a heavy or two in there somewhere, then sp2. Try and dex when you can to pause debuffs.

Shorter fights go Sp1, heavy and spam sp2.

Fights where you need specific utility like slow (good for unstoppable matchups but not so good for evade) which can be useful against doom too to turn off his aura, go for sp3 ASAP. If you need to control power gain heavy attack a lot, and then sp2.

His buff immunity is great for buffet/spite/mystic matchups, his passive power gain counter is in my opinion the best in the game, his debuff pausing is super useful for opponents that aren’t aggressive or good at throwing specials, his -75% damage against true strike is amazing for AW bosses.

He’s not loaded with tons of different utility, but he is the best at what he does have. He’s a niche beast, and he’s so much fun to play.

Happened to me the other day with a R2 iBom. It’s a bummer, but definitely just highlighted the fact that I didn’t read the description correctly and assumed it was basically the same as the GM.

I told you why he didn’t die on 2% with your sp3, I told you why he was able to survive. You said nothing about why it was designed this way, just asked why. So maybe park the attitude and ask questions more clearly.

It’s very simple to just politely correct your original post and say what you actually meant to ask, without being rude.

Wow an informational post I enjoyed reading then the mood was suddenly soured. How would we know why kabam chose to make it not an automatic knock out.
