Venompool regeneration - where is it?

Hi all,

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I could have sworn I would get a regeneration buff if I would take away a buff from the opponent after using sp1

I haven’t seen it in a while. I do get a fury sometimes, but no regen anymore? Not sure if I understand the champ correctly, what to do to get the regeneration back?

That used to be his primary ability on SP1; so you'd see it all the time.

It's been changed, so that he steals Power for his cooking meter instead (like Venom the Ducks SP1 which siphons aberration charge); which speeds his ramp-up.

He does still generate a regen buff if he steals an Armour buff though; so it's not completely gone.

You need to steal Armor Up buff for regen (pro tip: try doing Explosive Personality. With 3 armor ups and good RNG on SP1, that regen is crazy op)

Other buffs can be stolen as well, but they only give you more cooking meter pts (still good). That's why you "got Fury buff" - you had all unique VP buffs and stole a buff from the opponent. That gave you cooking meter pts and pushed it over 100, which triggered the said Fury (bcs all unique buffs were active)

My main has venompool r3 and my alt has venom r3. Both are used a ton.

Let me throw this into the ring. R5 5* VTD or use those resources to bring up the 5*venompool before VTD

Wait does he have immunity for freezerburn? I have an unduped r1 VP and seems solid enough but wasn't considering ranking him tbh. Does he get a lot of action in 7.3 for you? I run acid wash for AQ so wouldn't work there but I have a generic 1-2 gem on hand if he's strong for 7.3 exploration.

I haven’t been doing much exploration of 7.3 as RL has been very busy. But he has a synergy with human torch to make venompool immune to incinerate. So the two of them can easily tag team the two freezerburn paths I take in map 7 (S3 I take buffed up so he works there too).

Like everybody else pointed out, you have to steal armor With the SP1 and you'll get your Regen
