What happened to the PVP fights for some apparent reason they have disappeared.

    Not likely, the practice feature works to do mostly the same thing but does a lot more too.

    Old PvP was basically pointless.

    Random opponent.

    Would vary wildly in strength, from almost half of yours to almost double.
    Stats were never available to be looked at anywhere else except briefly (before or after ?) that fight. Could never check your Streak anywhere (like you can with normal Arena).

    Rewards ? What even was that tiny crystal you got for winning, lol.

    And, in case new ppl didn’t know, it wasn’t actually live PvP against someone else (it was just against computer playing someone's champ), just like all the other fighting in game.

    It was an outdated system that had no benefit in the current meta and better and if they do follow through with their plans on updating the arena system as well as creating true PVP combat, it still would have been removed either way..

    I don't see how this game could ever have actual PVP combat considering they have never been able to get it to run reliably just fighting AI that supposedly doesn't need constant communication with their servers during the fight itself.

    Exactly. Online PvP games are usually pretty basic since their focus is on PvP but to add that on top of everything else in MCOC, you'd need server farms on top of server farms to do it justice
