Any feedback about MCOC on Pixel 6?

Even it is early, maybe some people could have already tested the Pixel 6 and/or 6 Pro. So any feedback for MCOC
- The Tensor chipset performance
- The Mali G-78 GPU performance
- The temperature of the phone after a 15/20-minute session on the game
- The camera in the center top of the screen regarding the left hand moves

Reviews are now just in and I saw a view of them that focus on gaming. Sounds like it's decent/capable out of the box, with the high probability of significant improvement via software updates.

I'm glad. Mine should come in next week. Will be the first time I am playing the game with a phone that is younger than 3 years old.

Where did you guys order from and what are your delivery estimates? I'd love to hear when yours arrive. I ordered mine from Amazon.

Got mine yesterday. Switched from the pixel 3 to the 6 pro. The game looks great and it's fast but I've had issues throwing heavies when I'm trying to do light attacks in a combo. A few missed dashes and parry's as well. The intro and sp3 cut scenes seem glitchy as well. Hopefully they will get this figured out

These issues are all over the place with new phones, especially with (adaptive) 120 hz Screens. There are issues with new Samsung phones and iPhones.

Before I switched to iPhone 13 pro (official announcement from apple were one day before or something like that), I made a post regarding the new adaptive screen regarding some testing on kabam side. Never received feedback back then from kabam and now it’s a mess. Glitches, input failures and so on. Luckily, kabam zero passed these issues to the team, but we didn’t received an update for at least three weeks.

TL;DR

Buying new phones is unfortunately not always an upgrade gameplay-wise. Kabam needs a very long time to fix this issues or even acknowledge them

Ye true samsung with 120 Hz is now stucked ofc but my Girlfriend Shaomi Poco x3 have also 120 Hz and the game is running much smoother than Samsung ..they need to fix it finally... 2 month already

Unfortunately the game is all over the place. Two people with the same device can have very different experiences just like a person with a brand new $1100 flagship gets worse performance than someone with a phone that's a few years old. Unity is trash.

Good news. I just installed on the Pixel 6 Pro and it's smooth af. Smooooth. Rock solid. No stutters, no response issues.

Bad news. The GD effects are missing! No warp effects on Magneto's heavy, no phase effects on Ghost's win pose, etc., etc.

1 step forward, 1 step back. Annoying.

I pre-ordered through Verizon. It was delivered yesterday and I stopped at the b&m Verizon to pick up a case and they actually had several in stock.

Did you play on an iPhone before? because those VFX have always been missing from andriod phones... or at least all the andriod devices I've played the game on.
I've always wished they have a graphics level slider in the settings menu. so users with andriod phones that are more than capable of running with those extra effects can switch them on.

You would think there would be a video on YouTube of someone comparring iOS and andriod game graphics, but apparently there isn't.
Off the top of my head though... There's a lot more shimmer effects with Ghost's phasing, you notice this more on the victory screen, I think that is what BigPoppaCBONE is referring to. Also mentioned Mag's heavy, there's more of a motion blur in iOS. The weather effects like I mentioned before. Ant man shrinking has more frames of him getting smaller, so it's more of how it looks in the movie rather than just a sudden shrink.
That's the differences that come to mind but there's a lot more. Some really subtle, others are quite noticeable; especially if you play the game regularly on both iOS and andriod devices.

I still play the more on iOS with a 4-year old iPhone 8+. That was why I asked for feedbacks on the Pixel 6.
Of course there are a lot of details. But there are too many and I am pretty sure they add some lags and some overheatings.
As written in this suggestion, I would prefer to have an option to choose between a lot or to get rid of the ones that are useless to run the game smoothly on both OS.
Examples : the rain in the bridge room, the smokes at the foot of the running champions, some moving items in the background.
Of course, the visual of the champions should remains (metallic aspect of iron man’s armour...).

So I finally got around to testing it with my Pixel 6. You have to disable Smooth Display. With that setting enabled, I was consistently getting dropped inputs. But with it disabled, the game is very very very smooth. I can dex everything again (apoc's sps, etc.), load screens are fast, and champs with heavy animations do not cause lag (e.g., prof X, Annihilius, etc.).

I'm very happy with this. Once MCOC is optimized with the new Tensor chip, I will test it with Smooth Display and play around with some of the Game Center settings. But till then, disabling Smooth Display is the way to go and the experience has been flawless.

Not Mandela effect, not going crazy. It comes and goes with the monthly updates. 3 months there, 1 month gone, 2 months there, 2 months gone. No explanation, no acknowledgement.

I'm fine if they keep the rain and smoke stage effects out as those are annoying and make it harder to see/fight, but I want the rest of the effects and it wouldn't hurt flagship performance if they bumped them up a bit.
