Nick Fury still taking damage from Act 7 Kang despite completing mission.

I have been fighting Kang on the "easy" path where all his nodes are disabled. I am completing the mission but somehow mid special I am taking damage and dying?!?! I have wasted numerous revives and this continues to happen. Please look into this bug!!!
