Seeking to join Alliance

Hi guys,
I'm new to the game. Started this summer and made all the mistakes and paid for it when I got to Act 4. Restarted a month ago for a clean state.
I have that 9-5 professional life, but login in at least once a day.
Looking for a chill alliance where I can learn to get better at the game in addition to the resources. Haven't been part of an alliance before either, so I'm not super clear about the different maps, quests, lingo, etc.
