Game breaking sp3

I was doing incursions with my friend, I was using my doom on a black panther civil war and I got him to a sp3, I mediumed then heavied the black panther to stun him to then throw a sp1 to power steal…. It all sounded nice, until he used his sp3 WHILE HE WAS STUNNED…

KABAM PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!!!!
