Then they should have done the event. It would be a fun bonus but not the only way past something.

Isn't that one of the boosts from the event two years ago?
I vaguely remember that being VERY useful for the Spiderman boss from the "symbiote difficulty."
Does this mean that every boost we use, have used, or will use are also nodes as well?

Yeah they’d get screwed, but people often get screwed thanks to lack of roster/skill, so as long as there are other counters I think it would be cool
