i just got Guardian as 5*, is he any good and if so, how good?

    Very Good.

    Try and Awaken him and put a lot of sigs in him as fast as possible

    He’s awesome. He’s got all his damage (which is a ton) unawakened and gets a bunch of utility when awakened.

    Don't forget the Self Synergy giving Everyone on your Team 1,000 Extra Block Proficiency

    I just got him myself. At R5 and max sig he is a beast. He pretty much solo’d Tech Cav EQ for me this month.

    He is a utility and damage machine
    Gets even more utility when duped
    Provides 1k block proficiency for the whole
    Team
    Can block unblockable mutant special's
    Power drain
    Doesn't crit( instead he deals bonus shock damage based on your critical damage rating)
    Can parry tricky mediums like domino and havok
    Taunt
    Can make you take zero damage from all special's if you time your parry right
    Armor up that stacks
    When duped he gains the following:
    79.9% bleed resistance
    2300 block proficiency (perfect parries)
    300+ crit damage resistance
    8k+ energy resistance(second highest in the game) .
    Deals massive damage on his sp2 based on how many force field charges you can stack (you gain them from sp1 and sp3)

    awaken + 200 sigs = you will like it.
