Cant create a new account?

So my plan was to start a mini account for the first time but it dosent seem to work.
I created a new e-mail on which i would register my new account but it dosent work. When I try to log in on a new one i instead get logged in to my old acc. And with old account, i mean really old. Like the one i started 5 years ago and messed up a lot on, thats why I restarted on my main acc now.
Is it not possible to have 3 accounts? Can i delete my old one so I can start a new mini? Or am I simply missing something?
